A back-up plan in Tennessee in how it executes death row inmates. It's bringing back the electric chair. This makes Tennessee the first state to reintroduce the chair without giving prisoners an option.

The chair will only be used if it's unable to obtain drugs needed for lethal injections. A drug shortage has states like Tennessee worrying they'll run out and be unable to fulfill an inmates' sentence.
