Tri-State Woman's Breast Cancer Battle

A Hopkins County woman is battling one of the most aggressive, invasive types of breast cancer at the age of 30.
Chances are you know someone, or know of someone, who is battling breast cancer.

The disease typically affects women between the ages of 50-64, but there is a Hopkins County woman who is only 30 years old, battling one of the most aggressive, invasive types of breast cancer.

Sandra Betts has a 40% chance to beat the inflammatory breast cancer she's been diagnosed with, but she isn't letting those odds bring her down.

"I have cancer, but I'm not dying, if that makes sense.  I still have a life to live and a lot of goals that I have yet to reach.  It's going to be okay", Betts tells us.

Sandra says her two little boys, along with her husband and her faith, help to keep her strong.
