People are being invited to barge right in to Newburgh Town Hall today as organizers were getting ready for tomorrow's barge tours.

Exhibits were being assembled today for tomorrow's "Barge Right In" event. One of the exhibits being assembled is a working lock and dam.

Free tours will be given tomorrow for people to see a barge and towboat up close and personal instead of just watching a barge from the riverbanks.

"I think people see the barges go by," said Barge Right In Committee Member Lori Buehlman, "and they see coal go up one way and down the other, and they see product. But they really don't know what goes on."

AEP River Operations will be docking their towboat, "The Legacy", tomorrow morning with tours from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.
