Vanderburgh County Democratic Party Chair Rob Faulkner confirms Stephanie Brinkerhoff-Riley has been removed as the 3rd Ward leader on the Evansville City Council.
UPDATE: Vanderburgh County Democratic Party Chair Rob Faulkner confirms Stephanie Brinkerhoff-Riley has been removed as the 3rd Ward leader on the Evansville City Council. She will, however, remain on the city council since it is an elected position.

Just after being cleared of legal wrongdoing, Evansville City Council member Stephanie Brinkerhoff-Riley is at the center of turmoil again. Alex Jarvis has filed for a protective order against Brinkerhoff-Riley this afternoon.

Jarvis says 3rd Ward Councilwoman Stephanie Brinkerhoff-Riley threatened his life in an online social media post and during messages with his significant other.

Evansville Police confirm an incident was filed with the department today, and a protective order is being pursued.
