Blood Sugar Crash Causes Car Crash

A man suffering from extremely low blood sugar drives into a ditch in Evansville, and is sent to the hospital.
Eyewitness News was on the scene where a van ended up in a ditch, and the driver in the hospital.

It happened around 7:00 Saturday evening.
   
Vanderburgh County Sheriff deputies say a 38 old man was driving north on HWY-41 near Mt. Pleasant  when he drove into the median, and then into an embankment.
   
Deputies say the driver had severely low blood sugar.
He was taken to Deaconess Hospital.
   
Northbound traffic was down to one lane for an hour.
