Vanderburgh County residents will soon receive their property tax bills in the mail.
Vanderburgh County residents will soon receive their property tax bills in the mail.

The bills were sent out, and some may arrive as soon as tomorrow. More than 76,000 of them were sent out this year.

Two pay stubs are included, but don't let them confuse you.

"One is for the may the next is for the Fall," said Chief Deputy County Treasurer Dottie Thomas. "So, we just send them both out at the same time, and you have two little stubs that you can use to pay. And you can go to Old National Bank and pay with those stubs."

The deadline to pay the Spring balance is May 12. The Fall deadline is November 10. You can also view your bill online at vanderburghgov.org.

The County Treasurer's Office says an average bill went up two percent.
