Vectren says bills this year are expected to be much lower than the past three scorching Julys.

After only having a few days in the 90's, July had a 16 percent decrease in energy consumption compared to July 2013.

The first few days of August has shown rising temps and Vectren would like to remind everyone to still take precautions to help preserve energy.
