VHS Still Evaluating Pike Co. Rescued Dogs

VHS officials say once their health has been checked and they do a temperament test, then the 31 dogs will be put up for adoption. 

Last week, 33 dogs were pulled from a Pike County home outside Petersburg. There was not enough food, water, or clean conditions. Many had injuries and infections. Two had to be euthanized.
