A welfare check in Evansville lands three people in jail.

EPD was dispatched to the Lodge Avenue Apartments shortly before midnight to check on two children.

When the officer arrived, he says the mother, Lindsay Breeding, refused to come out of the apartment.
When officers finally got her to come out, Breeding was taken into custody for an active arrest warrant.

Officers got a warrant to search the apartment and found synthetic marijuana, drug making materials and drug paraphernalia.

Two men inside the apartment, Edward Sharp and Chase Miller, were arrested for interferring with an investigation.
The two children were taken into state custody.
