Western Kentucky Woman Arrested after Biting Police Officer

A Tri-State woman is accused of biting a police officer.
A Tri-State woman is accused of biting a police officer. Police say Tammy Ward was speeding on Kentucky 176 near Greenville, Kentucky, when officers pulled her over.

They say she appeared to be under the influence and had a plastic bag in her mouth. Greenville Police say she refused to take it out and bit an officer on the hand while they were trying to remove it.

Officers discovered it contained Xanax. She was arrested and now faces several charges.
