Witness Testimony Bill Goes Before Lawmakers

A bill that would require a witness testifying before the General Assembly to do so under oath will go before state lawmakers.

The oath administered to any General Assembly witness is the same as the one administered in a court of law. 

The bill's sponsors says the upcoming 2015 session will include several issues and legislators need to make sure the information they receive is reliable.
