Across the country, an increasing number of women are buying guns and getting licenses to carry them.
Matthew Tenbarge, owner of Hard Target Firearms Training, said he sees the trend firsthand with calls almost everyday from women interested in training.
Four women practiced real-life scenarios Sunday where they would have to potentially use deadly force. Tenbarge and his colleagues created situations like armed robber, home invasion and carjacking. The women shot guns with paint ball ammunition.
