Officers continue to make occasional runs for slide offs and fender benders.

Even though the snow fall totals trended way down from what was expected a couple days ago, black ice was still a major concern especially during the morning commute.

"The lack of accidents is a big thing," said Sgt. Jason Cullum. "Stranded motorists, those numbers are way down and that's direct evidence that people listened to what we said. "

Sgt. Cullum says it's still a good idea to exercise caution out on the roads and of course bundle up.
