Inspiring leadership, community service. Just a few of the characteristics necessary to become a member of Evansville's Regional Business Hall of Fame.

The latest recipients of this award are just announced today. John Engelbrecht, Chair of South Central Communications; Linda White, President and CEO of Deaconess Health System; and Thomas Morton, Jr., who's widely regarded as the father of the modern plastics industry.

All community leaders who have been successful on the business end.

"You're also looking for someone who has shared that success, shared those talents in terms of reaching out to the community," said USI President Dr. Linda Bennett. "That's the spirit of junior achievement in terms of educating the next generation. So, we're really looking for those folks who will serve as wonderful examplers to the next generation."

The Laureates and their families will be honored during a ceremony in March.
