Fall Festival is a Family Reunion for Some

Shirley Thomas said her family has owned an apartment near Franklin St. for more than 30 years.
The noise and crowds of the Fall Festival aren't for everyone, but one family said Wednesday they wouldn't have it any other way.

Shirley Thomas said her family has owned an apartment near Franklin St. for more than 30 years.

Thomas said the festival has become a yearly family reunion.

"People that don't get involved in it," Thomas said. "They can't understand how we feel about it. We look forward to it every year. I get to see people I haven't seen since last year."
