Federal Judge Strikes Down Oklahoma's Ban on Gay Marriage

Another state's ban on same-sex marriage is struck down today.
Another state's ban on same-sex marriage is struck down today.

A federal judge ruled Oklahoma's law limiting marriage to one man and one woman violates the U.S. Constitution. This comes after a judge found Utah's ban against gay marriage unconstitutional in December.

But unlike in Utah, gay couples in Oklahoma won't be able to tie the knot just yet. The judge said the court won't enforce the ruling until all appeals are heard.
