First Showing of 'Back in the Day' Held in Newburgh

Cast and crew gathered at Showplace Cinemas in Newburgh Thursday night to watch 'Back in the Day' for the first time.

Newburgh-native Michael Rosenbaum, best known for his role as Lex Luthor on the TV series ‘Smallville’, returned to Newburgh Thursday night for the premiere of ‘Back in the Day’ for cast and crew. Rosenbaum wrote, directed and starred in the comedy about high school friends returning to their hometown for a class reunion.

Several Tri-State locations such as Green River Road, Knob Hill Tavern, Washington Square Mall and Castle High School were featured in the film.

There is a screening at Newburgh Showplace Cinemas for the general public Friday.

The film opens nationwide next week. ‘Back in the Day’ is already available on iTunes.
