Fraternity Gives the Gift of Music to St. Mary's Patients

As we get closer to the end of the holiday season, we want to share one more example of how Tri-Staters are still in the giving spirit, this time through music.

Phi Mu Alpha fraternity stopped by St. Mary's in Evansville this morning to cheer up some patients. The group reaches out to people in retirement homes, shelters, and hospitals every year.

They say they like to bring the gift of music to those who could use a little extra strength.

"All of our guys either preform music, practice it, or pursue it in some way or support it in their communities," said Mark Wilson. And this is just a great way to take those talents we have and spread a little bit of joy especially this time of year when a lot of people are in most need of it."

This particular event is named the "Mills Mission" after the organization's founder.
