Kentucky Governor Steve Besher has awarded a contract to reconstruct a major interchange in the I-69 corridor in Hopkins County.
Kentucky Governor Steve Besher has awarded a contract to reconstruct a major interchange in the I-69 corridor in Hopkins County.

It's the latest projects in a series to upgrade three Kentucky parkways up to federal interstate standards.

Rogers Group Inc. won the bid for the project. The company will build an interchange connecting I-69 with the Pennyrile Parkway south of Madisonville.

The work should take until May of 2015 to finish.
