Indiana Governor Mike Pence is working to make more propane available for Hoosiers to stay warm.
Indiana Governor Mike Pence is working to make more propane available for Hoosiers to stay warm. This comes after the extreme Winter weather has put a strain on propane gas supplies.
Pence has issued an emergency proclamation waiving statutes that limit the hours of service for propane transporters. This will remain in effect until January 31.
The Indiana Department of Transportation trucks will also use diesel fuel instead of propane through March 1.
