Governor Mike Pence says he expects Indiana utility regulators to continue reviewing plans for the coal-gasification plant in Spencer County.

The nearly $3 billion project got a boost this week, when the State Supreme Court approved a contract requiring the state to buy its synthetic natural gas for 30 years. Pence says his office was reviewing the court's decision.

Opponents argue the Rockport project would cost the state's utility customers as much as $1 billion in higher gas rates.
