A busted sewer pipe prompts health officials to close down the Hardee's in Madisonville. The problems started Wednesday night and continued Thursday morning.

Health inspectors responded to a complaint just as the plumbers arrived at the restaurant yesterday. They closed the restaurant until the repairs were finished.

"The restaurant is currently working on the situation," said Public Health Director Denise Beach. "And as soon as they do, we will reopen the restaurant. There is no ongoing health investigation associated with this. I can tell you that."

A Hardee's spokesperson says the health and safety of its employees, and its guests are its number one concern. They hope to reopen as soon as the pipe repairs are complete.
