EVSC Grade Breakdown
13 schools in the EVSC improved
Two schools jumped three grades, Helfrich Park STEM Academy went from an F-B, Tekoppel Elementary School went from a D-A. Harper Elementary School and New Tech Institute both improved D's to B's. North Junior High School, Fairlawn Elementary School, Stockwell Elementary School, and Daniel Wertz Elementary School all improved F's to C's.
One school in the EVSC declined
Perry Heights Middle School dropped from a C to a D. There were also nine schools that failed, several for consecutive years. Caze Elementary School has received an F for four straight years. Lincoln School and McGary Middle School have received an F for five straight years, and Glenwood Elementary received an F for six straight years.
Four EVSC Schools Maintain A's
Oak Hill has received an A for two straight years. Cynthia Heights, Scott Elementary, Highland Elementary all received an A for four straight years.
Private Schools in Evansville Score Well
A's are a Habit
10 of the 11 schools that scored an A have received that score for at least the last three years.
Several Schools Drop a Grade
Christ The King, Holy Rosary, and Evansville Lutheran dropped from an A to a B, while St. Theresa dropped from a B to a D, and Holy Spirit dropped from a C to a D.
