It happened just after eight this morning in the 10,000 block of 69 north in Ohio County.
Kentucky investigators are working to identify a person who died in a fiery Ohio County crash.

It happened just after eight this morning in the 10,000 block of 69 north. The Ohio County Sheriff's Office says a car ran off the road, struck a tree and caught fire.

One person was found trapped in the driver's seat when emergency crews arrived. We're told the victim died at the scene.

That person's body was sent to the state medical examiner's office in Louisville for an autopsy and positive identification.
