Past studies from other research say heavy coffee drinkers have been linked to heart problems and intestinal problems. These findings have been disputed saying there is no significant relationship between coffee and health problems. And for some people, the health studies don't matter.
"They're going to drink it anyway," said Jessica Boyd. "They've been drinking it forever. So, even if studies come out against it, they're going to still drink it. I will."
For every study we've found that says heavy coffee consumption can be harmful, there is another study saying coffee contains antioxidants and increases cognitive function.
The National Coffee Association says 64 percent of Americans drink coffee everyday averaging three cups.
