An Indiana University student pleads not guilty after police arrested him for trying to make bombs. 20-year-old Ryder Pickens is charged with attempted manufacturing of a destructive device.

His roommate says he spotted the chemicals, lab equipment, a Hazmat suit, and a respirator in Pickens' room. He also thought it was strange that his friend had recently talked about changing his major from informatics, which is computer-related, to chemistry. The roommate ended up calling police with the information.

Investigators say pickens also had web searches on his computer for sarin gas and weapons of mass destruction.
