Jason's Deli was pretty busy when we stopped in at lunch time on Green River Rd. across from Eastland Mall. The deli is hoping to fill the gap for healthier food options in the Tri-State.
"We're hoping to fill the seats." said Franchise Owner Jay Tortorice. "So far, we think that this is nice that Evansville needed good healthy food at a great price, and we're excited to be here."
The company established in 1976 and was the first restaurant concept to eliminate artificial trans-fats and high fructose corn syrup from it's menu.
