This is freelance meteorologist Jason Lindsey filling in for Wayne Hart. The work week starts out spring-like as temperatures warm to the 50s today and then to the middle 60s by Wednesday. I am tracking a cold front that will push through, dropping temperatures to below freezing for daytime highs by Friday. The precipitation will start out as rain and then switch to a wintry mix Thursday night, then snow by Friday. Right now, the forecasting models are all over the place with this weather maker. I think the cold air will be in place and depending on when and how much moisture moves in behind the front, depends on how much of the sleet and snow actually accumulates. We’ll keep you updated.
