Former Indiana Secretary of State Charlie White will not be getting a new trial.

The Indianapolis Star reports a judge rejected his request for post-conviction relief on voter fraud and theft charges. 

He's currently serving a one-year home detention sentence. He was convicted in 2012.

White's argument for a new trial is his former defense attorney was incompetent.
