Jury Finds Megan Mecum Guilty of Murder

A Vanderburgh County jury finds Megan Mecum guilty in the murder of her husband Keith Vaughn.
A Vanderburgh County jury finds Megan Mecum guilty in the murder of her husband Keith Vaughn.

Police say Mecum encouraged her boyfriend and his cousin to rob and kill her husband. She will sentenced on December 13.

Prosecutors say Mecum's boyfriend James Mayhugh and his cousin Hubert Mayhugh III broke into Vaughn's home in March 2012, robbed him, and killed him.

James Mayhugh pleaded guilty last month and will be sentenced on December 30. Hubert Mayhugh III was found guilty and was sentenced to 60 years in prison.
