Kentucky Man Arrested for Marijuana Trafficking

Ohio County Sheriff's deputies arrest a Nortonville man for allegedly trafficking marijuana. As a result of a lengthy investigation, authorities say they found more than five pounds of marijuana as well as an elaborate growing operation.=

Ohio County Sheriff's deputies arrest a Nortonville man for allegedly trafficking marijuana. As a result of a lengthy investigation, authorities say they found more than five pounds of marijuana as well as an elaborate growing operation.

Deputies arrested Treaman Downs, 61, on Sunday afternoon. While working with the Pennyrile Narcotics Unit, deputies found Downs in his car while he was driving down the Western Kentucky Parkway.

After a quick search, deputies say they found two 5-gallon buckets with four pounds of pot inside. At his home, deputies say they found another pound and a half of weed along with a elaborate growing operation.

Downs is at the Ohio County Detention Center.
