McDowell Sentenced in Murder Case

On Wednesday, Judge Robert Pigman sentenced Racxon McDowell to 65 years in prison.
An Evansville man is sentenced for the murder of his girlfriend.

On Wednesday, Judge Robert Pigman sentenced Racxon McDowell to 65 years in prison.

McDowell was convicted earlier this year for the June 2012 death of Rachael Lomax.  Lomax and McDowell were living toghther at an apartment on Mount Vernon Avenue at the time of her death.

Prosecutors say Lomax was found with 21 separate injuries from the fatal beating.
