Measles Confirmed in Monroe County

Health officials have confirmed a case of measles in Monroe County, Indiana.
The Indiana Department of Health has confirmed a case of measles in Monroe County.
Bloomington is the County seat in Monroe County.
Even though the case has been confirmed in Monroe County, officials say the person with the disease was in the Indianapolis Airport August 22nd.  They say anyone who was in the Indianapolis Airport August 22nd, and who comes down with symptoms of measles should contact a doctor immediately.
Health officials say the person who has the disease did not get a vaccine.  They also say the person likely caught the disease during a trip overseas.
