Mally is a male colobus monkey, the first born at the zoo since 2009. The colobus monkey is unique because unlike other monkeys. They don't have thumbs.
Mally's mom is a first time mother. Zookeepers say she's coming along just fine.
"She's very protective as a first time mother as well," said zookeeper Jessa McCauley. "I was saying that she let him climb the mesh, but she only let's him get about a foot or two up. And she's like 'Okay, got to reel you in.'"
You can see little Mally outdoors at the zoo whenever temperatures are above 45 degrees. There are now four colobus monkeys at the zoo.
