The Kentucky Division of Fish and Wildlife is responding to numerous reports from residents who say they spotted a bear in Daviess County.

The Sheriff's Department says the first sighting it received was from someone saying the bear was crossing the Natcher Parkway. They also received reports from Red Hill Maxwell Road and from the area around Sugar Grove Church.

So far biologists have not found a bear.

They found tracks but they have not determined if they are bear tracks, or tracks from another animal.
