The chimes have been restored in the cemetery's bell tower. And since it's December, the chimes will be playing holiday songs four times every even hour from eight to four.
So far, cemetery officials have received positive feedback from the public.
"You have to hear it," said Superintendent of Cemeteries Chris Cooke. "I mean it just puts it in perspective, and some people have really gotten emotional over it. It's one of those things that if just adds a nice, little touch to the families that we serve."
The current system is being loaned by a company called Chime Master. Cooke hopes to set up a fund to make the chime system permanent.
