Home Instead Senior Care is holding two Alzheimer's and dementia workshops this month. They're scheduled for September 23, in Henderson and September 26, in Owensboro.
The workshops focus on assisting relatives of Alzheimer's patients cope with the disease.
"If you're a son or a daughter and mom or dad has this disease," said Stephen Bryson, "it's very difficult to cope with managing behaviors when they're verbally aggressive, and sometimes it can lead to physical aggression."
The workshops are two of several being held this month across the country as part of World Alzheimer's Month.
