A trolley was bought more than a year ago but is only being used now for special events. Planners say it would get people to stores and attractions and free up some parking spots downtown.
"We got the new boardwalk building downtown," said Lelan Hancock. "So, if they would like to go to one of the shops at the end of the route, they can hop on and within 15 minutes, they could head to one of the restaurants, have a lunch, and then back to the office."
Hancock says it would cost more than $130,000 a year to operate the trolley.
