Golden Glaze Bakery has been collecting money for a man named J. Husk, who's battling brain cancer. Last week, employees say that jar was swiped right off the counter.

You can see the suspect in the video. He's wearing an Indiana Pacers jacket.

An employee is busy mopping and cleaning up. Just a few minutes later, the jar is gone.

"I'm sure he said I'm just looking or something like that," said Golden Glaze Manager JoNell Lawrence. "He looked in the Coke machine, and he looked down at the cookies and stuff. As soon as she turned her back, he grabbed it and walked out the door."

Employees tell us they empty the jar on a regular basis, so it's hard to say how much money was stolen.

The store is still collecting donations for husk and his family. If you'd like to drop by, Golden Glaze is located in the 1300 block of Washington St.

If you have any information on the suspect, give Henderson Crime Stoppers a call at (270) 831-1111.
