Police: Woman Dies After Jumping From Owensboro Parking Garage

Police are investigating the death of a woman whose body found near the parking garage in downtown Owensboro.
Police are investigating the death of a woman whose body found near the parking garage in downtown Owensboro.

Police tell Eyewitness News the body was found just before 10:00 Wednesday morning in the 100 block of Allen St., near Smothers Park.

Officer Mike Hathaway with OPD says they believe the woman, identified as 77-year-old Mae Milne, of Owensboro, jumped from the city's parking garage at Second and Allen streets just before 10:00 Wednesday morning.  She was pronounced dead at the scene, and foul play is not suspected.
