Derrick Armstead is charged with attempted murder, battery with a deadly weapon, and other charges after deputies say he got in a fight with two men last month in the Twin Lakes Trailer Park and ended up stabbing them.
The prosecutor's office tells us Armstead's lawyer isn't available on October 3, which was the original trial date. A jury will now be selected on November 19. Officials only expect a two-day long trial.
Armstead is a habitual offender, so he faces more than 50 years in prison if convicted.
