On Friday, the defense rested its case. Now, the prosecution is calling its rebuttal witnesses.
Today, the state criticized the DNA scientist from the Netherlands that testified for the defense earlier in the trial. Camm's attorneys indicated they may need to call that expert back to respond on the witness stand, which could extend the trial and add to the cost, which is already stretching Floyd County's budget.
David Camm is being tried for a third time for the murders of his wife and two children. He maintains the killings were done by Charles Boney, a man who is serving a 225 year sentence for the murders, which happened back in 2000 in Georgetown, Indiana.
