30 percent of Mitch Daniel's salary as president of Purdue University could be at risk. That's if he doesn't meet certain goals throughout the year.

Daniels makes just over $500,000. When he became Purdue's president, he asked the university's board of trustees to hold him accountable for several goals.

Each year, Daniels will have to improve on fundraising at the school, increase the graduation rates, reduce the amount of student debt, and also increase academic excellence among students and the university overall.
