Reward Offered in Search for Missing Southern Illinois Woman

A reward has been offered in the search for missing southern Illinois woman.

SHAWNEETOWN -- The family of a missing Hardin County, Illinois woman is trying a new attempt to find her.

Hardin County is in southern Illinois between Evansville and Paducah, Kentucky.

They are now offering a $1,000 reward for any information leading to the whereabouts of 39-year-old Chrissy Williams, who has now been missing for nearly two weeks.

With no evidence of where she could have gone or signs of her vehicle, search crews have fanned out to cover more ground.

They have expanded to Gallatin County to search the route she would normally take home.
"Someone just doesn't vanish without a trace. A vehicle does not go missing where it cannot be located. Someone knows something," says Chrissy's son Dustin. "If anyone has any info. Please step forward. I am running out of time. Tomorrow at one o'clock, I have to leave to return to California to continue training with the U.S. Marine Corps."
Williams was last seen leaving a home in her Red 2011 Ford Explorer in Rosiclare, Illinois on December 2nd.

She is described as 5' 1", 120 pounds with tattoos on her feet and one on her back. Call the Hardin County Sheriff's office if you have any information that could help.
