Senator Coats met with Evansville leaders at the Federal Building downtown today to highlight his "road map" plan to break what he calls, the on-going stalemate in Washington.
Number one on his list is protecting Hoosiers from the problems associated with the president's Affordable Care Act. The senator also wants to work on growing the manufacturing sector in the state of Indiana and the country.
"Several of the ideas come directly from Hoosiers," said Senator Coats, "so we call it the Indiana way. We want to take the Indiana model and voice to Washington not the Washington voice to Indiana."
Coats hopes his 10 proposed ideas can all be accomplished over the next few years.
