"Well the weather was too bad yesterday and I was at work," said Leah Schwindel. The road conditions are still not ideal. "We drive a four wheel drive so we weren't totally worried about it. but it's still slick," said Chad Seibert. But for many the roads were manageable and with a glimpse of sunlight people jumped at the chance to start some holiday shopping. "Today though it settled down and the sun was out and everything was so pretty we got in the Christmas spirit and took off," said Schwindel.
Temperatures dropped into the teens, and snow measured by the inches, but for some the winter weather adds something that can't be measured, spirit. "Makes it seem more season appropriate for the time of year. Definitely puts you in the Christmas spirit a little more." said Seibert.
While many shuffle from store front to car, trying to escape the winter wind. Today's work is tomorrow's leisure with another round of winter weather heading our way. "Tomorrow we will stay in, wrap presents, watch Christmas movies, and do all the fun stuff," said Schwindel.
