More than a dozen students stayed silent all day to show what it's like to lose a classmate to drug or alcohol use. A wrecked car was also parked outside the school to show the effects of alcohol misuse.
"The problem exists in our school," said Bosse Senior Alyssa Sisco. "It's not some foreign subject that isn't in our school. People that we know, go to school with, are effected by car crashes, driving under the influence."
Students at Stringtown Elementary also released balloons this morning to show their pledge to be drug free.
