Icy roads are being blamed for an early morning accident involving a school bus.

Around 6:45 Wednesday morning, Indiana State Police say the driver of a pickup truck lost control on the ice and crashed into the bus which was stopped on Upper Mt. Vernon Road near Dieffenbach Road.

Troopers say the children and the bus driver were not injured.  The driver of the truck, 20-year-old Jesse Kepmer, of Evansville, was cited for driving too fast on the icy conditions.
