Kentucky State Representative John Arnold is under fire after two statehouse employees filed sexual harassment and assault complaints. They claim Rep. John Arnold of Sturgis sexually harassed and assaulted them over a several year period. The information was obtained by WFPL-FM and the Kentucky Center for Investigative Reporting.
Yesterday, Kentucky State Representative Tom Riner of Louisville called the allegations "an opportunity to do the right thing."
But, Arnold's neighbor, Jennifer Carrico, said she's always known him to be a good man from a friendly home. She said she was shocked to learn about the allegations.
"You don't want to believe it," Carrico said. "And obviously since I wasn't there I can say 'Yeah, I can see that happening' because I can't."
Eyewitness News stopped by Arnold's home in Sturgis. There was no answer. We also called Arnold's office in Frankfort. An office staffer had no comment.
