Three Arrested After Daviess County Crash

Three people are in the Daviess County, KY Jail after deputies say they admitted to huffing chemicals and leaving the scene of an accident.

The Sheriff's Department says Kelsey Pierce (pictured above), along with two passengers, Dylan Somers and Jason Wilkinson, were arrested after a car crash on Todd Bridge Road at Highway 1207 in Owensboro around 1:30 Friday morning.  Photos of Somers and Wilkinson were not available as of this posting.

Investigators say Pierce was driving. They say he didn't stop at a stop sign and drove into an embankment and walked away.

Deputies say they found the three walking about a mile away, and that they admitted to huffing duster, which is used to clean computers.  Deputies also say after the crash, they took the license plate off he car and threw it into a corn field.

All three now face several charges, including leaving the scene of an accident, public intoxication and possession of controlled substances.
